The 3rd So Over It contest ends, once again with no winner. It’s hard to believe no one could guess this one:

It is 雷峰塔, (The Leifeng Pagoda). One of my students told me all about it during a session last week. It’s quite an attraction in her home city of Hangzhou, near the West Lake, which is quite an attraction itself. This is not the original Pagoda, which was built during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period and lasted 950 years until its collapse in 1924. This rebuild is a mere 10 years old.
