Adolf Hitler and his secret mistress, Eva Braun, spent a great deal of time at the Berghof, Hitler’s retreat at the Obersalzberg. I’ve posted at length about the place here, but I neglected to include in that post this color film, taken by Eva Braun, which shows Hitler, the Berghof, the Kehlsteinhaus, and several leading Nazi officials, most notably Bormann and von Ribbentrop. There are also lots of Braun “selfies”, including her exercising, skiing, and dressed as Scarlett O’Hara.

You’ll hear some English voiceovers and odd snatches of incidental music in this–some of clips may have been recovered from one documentary or another–but the clips themselves are silent. Acknowledgement to Archive.org.
