19 years ago, I saw Peter Gabriel live at the Tacoma Dome, where he did a version of “Solsbury Hill” very much like the one in the video below. (Naturally. It was taken from the same tour.) The song has suffered a bit from its overuse in trailers for romantic comedies, but I’ll never forget standing in row B and watching P.G. sing it about six feet in front of me.
