I just finished the first draft of a review of a well-written but at the same time frustrating pastiche of Samuel Beckett’s Mercier and Camier. You’ll hear more about that in due course. Other things on my mind:

Why the GOP won’t admit the failure of supply side economics.

Darren McFadden will return to an Oakland Raiders team that may have finally figured out how to block. Unfortunately, during his absence, the Raiders have forgotten how to stop opposing offenses from scoring. Since they’re facing Peyton Manning, the ability to run the ball probably won’t matter much.

Looks like there’s a new oldest dinosaur. He’s 10-15 million years the senior of the previous oldest specimen.
