No winners for the 18th edition of the contest. (Cue sad trombone sound). The location was Page Hall, on the Caltech Campus. I lived there during the summer of 1985 while I was participating in the Caltech Summer Science Program for junior high and high school students.

Our next stop takes us to the deep south, specifically the State of Mississippi. Something happened in the area below that inspired the Eudora Welty short story, “Where Is the Voice Coming From”.
